IUCAB stands for the International Union of Commercial Agents & Brokers. The MAA has been a member since the start in 1953 and an MAA Council member is on the IUCAB Executive Committee. Membership of IUCAB is limited to membership owned associations with written constitutions and elected governing bodies.

It is due to the efforts of IUCAB and the MAA that agency law now exists throughout Europe.

IUCAB is a subscriber, with other organisations, to Eurocommerce, an organisation that represents our views to the EU at Brussels.

IUCAB holds annual Delegates meetings in a different member country each year and periodic Congresses. In 2004 the Delegates meeting was hosted by the MAA in London.
